This Japanese Maple is a graceful small tree with delicate green leaves that turn brilliant red, gold, and orange in autumn. Growing to 4–5 metres, it thrives in semi-shaded, sheltered spots with regular watering and mulch.
Water regularly, especially during hot, dry spells. Mulch annually to help retain moisture and protect roots. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring to shape, removing any dead or damaged branches. Fertilise in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertiliser to support growth.
